OBDII codes maybe detected and logged during a diagnostics scan of specific sensors by the PCM at start, when the Exhaust Back Pressure Valve is gutted or disconnected. The provided plug eliminator (Figure 1), used will stop the PCM from throwing the dreaded code.
This also will prevent the EBV from closing. It will always remain open.

Just recieved today and installed. Used code reader to run dtc’s and the clear them. Started truck let run and read again. It cleared the epb code i was throwing great product if you put a new pedestal and or turbo in with no ebpv.
