20-25 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke Motorcraft Manifold Absolute Pressure MAP Sensor

Fits: 2020-2025 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke 

The MAP sensor measures the absolute pressure (or the vacuum/pressure) inside the intake manifold. The engine control module (ECM) uses this reading, along with engine speed (RPM) and intake air temperature, to determine proper fuel delivery, ignition timing, and boost control (for turbocharged engines).  A faulty MAP sensor can lead to poor performance, incorrect fuel/air mixture, increased emissions, hard starting, or erratic idle.

It is a direct- fit replacement sensor, meaning you don’t need major modifications to install it. Clean around the mounting area before removing the old sensor — you don’t want debris entering the intake manifold once the sensor is removed. After installation, clear any stored trouble codes (if applicable) and monitor the engine performance to ensure the new sensor is functioning correctly. Use the correct torque specification for the mounting bolt(s) as per Ford service manual to avoid over-tightening or air leaks. Ensure the wiring connector is compatible and undamaged (pins are clean, no corrosion).
