“EZX” is the performance module/distributor: it plugs into the factory system (no cutting or splicing), making install relatively straightforward. “Insight CTS3” is the dash-mountable monitor/display module that pairs with EZX — giving you a touchscreen in-cab interface to monitor engine/vehicle data and control certain features.

• Adjustable power levels on the fly — you get 5 different power/tuning levels, allowing you to switch tuning for towing, daily driving, or performance with a button or the app.
• Performance boost: up to +60hp and +140lb-ft of torque (at the wheels, per Edge’s claims).
• App-based controls and customizations — via Edge’s smartphone app you can adjust throttle sensitivity (pedal response), enable/disable TPMS warning, adjust TPMS thresholds, toggle features like fog lights tied to high beams, perform manual DPF regeneration (if equipped), read/clear ECM & TCM codes, and check emissions-readiness status.
• Engine protection measures — the module reportedly won’t add extra power until the engine coolant reaches a certain temperature (120 °F ECT), and reduces output if coolant gets too hot (e.g. 240 °F ECT), aiming to protect engine under stress.
• Convenience / monitoring — the Insight CTS3 display provides real-time monitoring of various engine parameters (boost, temps, etc.), giving you visibility under the hood from inside the cab.
• Plug-and-play install — no splicing or cutting into factory wiring; the kit uses factory-style connections.
• Reversibility / dealer-friendliness — because it’s not a permanent modification (just a module), it’s designed to leave no trace when removed — helpful if you need to take the truck in for dealer service or want to revert to stock.

Because this modifies engine tuning, there is always some risk — more power means more stress on engine, transmission, drivetrain, especially if towing or hauling heavy loads frequently. The built-in coolant protection helps, but natural limits still apply. If your vehicle’s emissions equipment (DPF, SCR, EGR, etc.) has been removed, disabled, or modified, this kind of tuning/aftermarket module may cause problems or even violate emissions regulations. Since it’s a “tuning module + monitor combo,” installing other tuning devices or stacking multiple modifications can cause conflicts.
