NOW INCLUDES OUR TURBO HOSE RETAINING RING!!
The kit includes the boot that connects the intercooler pipe to the turbo and the two T-bolt spring clamps as well as our retaining ring. The spring bolt clamps are 300 series stainless steel with zinc coated bolts with a 300lb clamping strength. Recommended torque is 60 in/lbs.
For use on all years of the Ford 6.0L Powerstroke Superduty. Our angled boot is slightly longer than stock to facilitate many aftermarket piping systems as well as stock applications. More durable and oil resistant than OEM for years of trouble free use. This boot will not fit van applications or Banks Intercooler systems. We do not offer a boot for either of those applications.
Because of the relatively short section of CAC tubing you will need to connect to, and the fact that many of the 6.0L steel tubes are bent and deformed at the ends, we highly recommend the Turbo Hose retaining ring (Now included for free with this hose). No additional clamps are needed, nor is there room for them.
DieselSite introduced aramid boots to the market almost 5 years ago. We wanted the best oil and heat resistance properties we could get along with superior strength. Silicone hoses are incompatible with oil and will start to break down over time. Our boots are an oil resistant three layer design. The inner fluoroelastomer super lining protects our aramid reinforced core layer from oil penetration caused by the crankcase vent system. And now we’ve added reinforcing aramid fibers to this inner lining for protection against oil penetration caused by improper installation of clamps being overtightened or cuts from casting burrs or sharp pipe edges. A rubber external layer provides better bite for the clamp. Spring loaded t-bolt clamps are included with our hoses and we offer a special retaining ring for added protection from blowing boots!
