03-06 Ford 6.0L Powerstroke Cometic MLX Head Gasket

Fits: 2003-2006 Ford 6.0L Powerstroke (18mm) 

The Cometic MLX Head Gasket for your 2003-2006 Ford 6.0L Powerstroke is comprised of multiple layers of stainless steel due to its increased strength, ability to rebound and resistant to corrosion. The outer layers of the gaskets are embossed and coated on both sides with a flouroelastomer rubber-based material that is heat resistant to 250C/482F. This rubber based material is designed to meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions and surface finishes. The center or shim layer is an uncoated stainless steel layer that is folded back upon itself to create the locking portion of the bore seal.

• 20mm alignment dowels- manufactured - Jan 12, 2006 
• Confirm dowel size when using remanufactured heads. Most Ford OE heads are 20mm regardless to mfg date
