15-19 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke Mahle Upper Engine Oil Pan Gasket Set

Fits: 2015-2019 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke 

Its primary function is to seal the upper oil pan to the engine block, ensuring the engine’s oil stays contained and the pan does not leak. A proper seal protects oil pressure, lubrication, and prevents messy leaks or oil loss. It also includes oil-cooler gaskets (for those engines equipped with an oil cooler), which ensures the cooler housing and pan sealing surfaces are properly sealed when doing a full reseal. 

Because the upper pan on many 6.7 L Powerstroke engines is sealed with liquid gasket/sealant plus gasket set, installation requires clean, properly prepped mating surfaces (block and pan) — all old sealant and oil must be removed. After resealing, proper torque sequences and specficiations must be honored on all bolts to avoid warping or leaks. If oil leaks persist after resealing, the leak may be coming from another source (front or rear covers, vacuum pump seal, valve cover gasket, crankcase ventilation, etc.) — so you may need to inspect thoroughly before assuming it’s just the pan.
