Fits: 2011-2019 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke

It’s a direct-fit, OE-style replacement gasket designed to match factory coolant-system geometry for the application. This gasket seals the junction at the coolant crossover outlet on the right side of the engine — where coolant flows from the engine block/head to coolant crossover tubes or passages. A proper seal ensures coolant stays inside the passages and does not leak externally.

Replacing this gasket during maintenance (especially when coolant-system components are removed) helps ensure a reliable seal and prevents leaks, restoring OEM-spec coolant containment and flow. You have removed coolant crossover components (e.g. water crossover pipes, thermostat housing, intake/crossover system) — gasket seals are usually damaged when disassembled, so a fresh one is needed for a proper seal. You’re seeing or suspect a coolant leak around the right-side coolant outlet or crossover area (visible coolant drips, puddles under engine, low coolant level, pressure-loss, overheating, etc.).

You’re doing a coolant-system overhaul or heavy-duty maintenance (turbo work, head/crossover servicing, gasket replacement) — replacing all coolant gaskets under those circumstances reduces risk of future leaks. Preventive maintenance: if your engine has high mileage or the original gasket is old — replacing with a new OE-style gasket helps ensure long-term reliability, especially under heavy towing or load.

When installing, mating surfaces must be clean and free of old gasket material, corrosion, coolant residue or debris — even small imperfections can prevent proper sealing and cause leaks. Use proper torque and sequence as required (if bolts are involved), and after installation, carefully pressure- test the coolant system and check for leaks once the engine warms up — coolant leaks often worsen under heat/pressure cycles. If the coolant crossover pipe or outlet housing is damaged (cracked, warped, or corroded), replacing the gasket alone may not solve leaks — inspect the hardware/components closely before assuming gasket is the only issue.
