Fits: 2011-2019 Ford 6.7L Powerstroek (EGR Inlet Tube To Exhaust Manifold)

The G32886 is an EGR-tube (exhaust gas recirculation) gasket — the seal that connects the EGR inlet (or EGR tube) to the exhaust manifold (or EGR inlet manifold) on certain diesel engines. The gasket seals exhaust gas flow through the EGR tube so that hot exhaust doesn’t escape at the joint. This is critical because the EGR system redirects exhaust gases back into the intake to reduce emissions — a leak at this joint would cause exhaust to escape into the engine bay (or under hood), reduce EGR flow, and cause soot, smell, or performance issues.

By maintaining a tight, heat-resistant seal, the gasket helps preserve proper EGR function, emissions compliance and prevents exhaust leaks (which could lead to visible soot, poor throttle response, or even check-engine codes). You are removing or reinstalling the EGR tube or EGR assembly (for cleaning, service, or repair). The gasket should not be reused after disassembly — it compresses and deforms once installed.

You have exhaust leaks, soot, unusual exhaust smell under hood, or reduced EGR performance — a failed or missing gasket at the EGR tube joint is a common culprit. You are doing an EGR system overhaul or emissions-related maintenance — replacing all gaskets during a teardown helps prevent future leaks and maintain engine health.
