The Mahle G32834 is a replacement gasket for the EGR(Exhaust Gas Recirculation) tube on the 6.7L Powerstroke. It seals the connection where the EGR crossover/ feed tube attaches to the EGR system. It’s an OE-style gasket, meaning it’s built to match factory fitment and heat-resistance.

The gasket: Seals high-temperature exhaust gas between the EGR tube and mounting surface. Prevents exhaust leaks. Ensures proper EGR system function. Helps avoid: soot buildup around the joint, check-engine lights for EGR flow codes, noisy "ticking" from an exhaust leak. 

• You removed the EGR tube (even once — they usually cannot be reused)
• There is soot around the EGR tube flange
• You hear a slight exhaust leak
• You’re replacing EGR coolers, cleaning EGR, doing intake/turbo work, etc.

Installation help: Clean both mating surfaces — soot or pitting will cause leaks, Make sure the tube is aligned before tightening, Torque bolts evenly to avoid bending the flange, After installation, run and check for exhaust smell or soot trace.
