68RFE Transmission 800 HP 19-ON Performance Advantages
Our 800 horsepower 68RFE transmission rebuild is designed to handle additional power beyond the OE design. With extensive testing on our own RAM diesel trucks we have been able to prove the 68RFE's performance capabilities in keeping up with Cummins powered engines. This build addresses OE overdrive failure and incorporates the Sonnax Overdrive clutch drum with an extra capacity stack up that includes 16 friction surfaces.

Please note- Trucks running 37" or larger tires require 4.10 or a numerically higher gear ratio to carry a warranty. 

68RFE Transmission Core Charge Policy

$2,000 core charge added at check out and will be refunded when returned in whole with no damage. The following deductions will be made to the $2,000 charge when there is damage to one or more of the following, but charges will not exceed the $2,000 core.

ALL trucks are required to have aftermarket transmission tuning for proper transmission operation and warranty. 

Transmission Tuning requirements:
-225PSI Line pressure
-100psi resting line pressure
-120PSI exhaust brake line pressure
-Mandatory relearns after VB/trans install
-Under drive pulse test needs to be turned off
-Extend shift points roughly 10% in the 3-4, 4-5, 5-6
-Good engine tunes makes a good transmission tune
-Locked shifts
-Line pressure gain in gears 4-6 needs to .448
