“PRO-GATE” Dual Entry 6.7L Wastegate System

If you have an 09 or later truck, you'll need to block the coolant stand pipe, you will not be able to run the hose connecting to the cylinder head. You'll need to block it or select a block kit in the drop down.

While fueling options abound cost effective turbo options for the 6.7L Cummins are lagging far behind. The stock VGT turbo is an extremely tough design with the added benefit of a built in exhaust brake. However, it is very limited in exhaust flow capability due to the 2.44” turbine outlet opening and lack of a built in wastegate to bypass the turbine wheel. The GDP “Pro-Gate” System solves that problem!
Tell any professional engine builder that you want to make big HP from a turbocharged 6.7L engine while exhausting thru a 2.44” opening and they will laugh you out of the shop. The only way to add exhaust flow area, while maintaing the VGT turbo, is to add an external wastegate. You can pump all the air and fuel you want into the engine but to make horsepower you have to be able to get the spent gasses out of the engine in a hurry. The “Pro-Gate” adds flow area via a Tial 38mm MV-S wastegate which controls drive pressure and greatly reduces pumping losses on the top end. All while keeping the built in VGT exhaust brake 99% effective.
The “Pro-Gate” wastegate system works on all 6.7L Cummins application from mild to wild. For stock and towing vehicles we also have the GDP “Street-Gate”.
“Pro-Gate” 38mm Wastegate System
- Balanced Dump from all Cylinders. By venting from both ports on the exhaust manifold drive pressure is relieved evenly on all cylinders in high HP applications.
