Benefits from removing the EBPV entirely in the 7.3 Powerstroke can free up power and stop the EBPV leak permanently. This 7.3 EBPV delete kit contains the parts necessary to delete the EBPV valve or often referred to as the warm up valve from the turbo. The valve open during normal operation but in the coldest climates in will close periodically to aid in warming the engine faster. Deleting this valve is common and doesn't affect normal operations of the truck. This kit contains Non EBPV pedestal, Alliant turbo installation kit and the flange on the exhaust adapter. This is a complete comprehensive kit for the DIY removal of the EBPV valve. Fits 1999.5-2003 7.3 Powerstroke. When the exhaust back pressure valve leaks you have to either replace it or remove it. The leak drains down the back of the engine onto your driveway or the ground. The easiest is to removed it completely with this kit and never have the problem again. You will get a soft code on the ECM which does not affect performance or does not set the SES or CES light.
