New replacement fuel shut-off solenoid for years 94-98, 12 valve Dodge Cummins.
Also known as a fuel shutdown solenoid.
No silly wiring adapter needed. Also comes with new brackets, screws and levers. About a 25 minute job to remove and replace. Compare this price to the dealer, you'll be surprised. Exact same part. This is the correct part!
A few things- this solenoid should pull up when the engine is cranked over. If it doesn't, you may want to check your fuel shutdown solenoid relay mounted to the firewall first, click here. If the solenoid pulls up when the engine is cranked but doesn't say in the "up" position after done cranking for the engine to start, the solenoid may be bad. Check your "engine" fuse in the fuse box on the side of the dash to make sure it hasn't blown. If it has, and upon replacement it blows again, unplug the fuel shutdown solenoid and attempt to crank the truck over again. If the fuse does not blow, chances are, your fuel shutoff solenoid is bad.
1 year warranty.
