All Dodge Ram Cummins from 2003-2012 come stock from the factory with a 7 micron OEM fuel filter that is only about 60% efficient. That's right, 60% efficient! Cummins themselves recommend 4 micron! This is why they are notorious for taking out the injectors. In fact, OEM injectors are typically on backorder due to so many being sold worldwide.

Why we put the CAT filter in our kits.

According to an in-depth research study conducted by CAT, the 7 micron particle has been shown to be the main cause of accelerated pump and injector wear in the Common Rails producing upwards of 29,000psi. These 7 micron particles blasting through your injectors at that kind of pressure result in premature failure which can cost upwards of $3,000-$4,000 in repair bills. CAT fuel filters are made to the highest level of quality in a factory, specifically designed to produce 'zero tolerance' filters. CAT built this factory that completely manufactures the filter without a human being touching it, because filter manufacturing can be very tedious and boring, which results in human error. The results of this factory process are a true, 2 micron fuel filter removing 2 micron and larger particles with over 98% efficiency.

Our Cummins Dual Filter Kit is for both better fuel and water filtration and is an inside the frame mounted nice and tight up to the cab utilizing the rear seat bolts on the drivers seat. This kit requires NO drilling or welding. You simply bolt this on over the frame rail to the rear seat bolts and connect the hoses to your stock fuel line using the supplied steel compression fittings. The kit includes the FB1311 Baldwin filter bases, mounting bracket, 1-R0750 CAT filter, 1-BF1212 Baldwin filter, hoses, fittings, mounting hardware, mini tube cutter and full-color detailed instructions. The installation is very straight-forward and takes approximately 30-45 minutes to complete. The bracket is laser cut 3/16" steel and comes in a black, double powder-coated finish.

Our Cummins Single Filter Kit is better fuel filtration only and is also an inside-the-frame mount that sandwiches the frame so NO drilling or welding is required. You simply bolt this on inside the frame rail in front of the fuel tank (behind the torsion bar mount on a short-bed) and connect the hoses to your stock 3/8" fuel line using the supplied steel compression fittings. The kit includes the Baldwin filter base FB1311, mounting brackets, 1-R0750 CAT filter, steel braided hoses, fittings, mounting hardware, mini tube cutter and full-color detailed instructions. The installation is very straight-forward and takes approximately 30-45 minutes to complete. Both brackets are laser cut 3/16" steel and comes in a black, double powder-coated finish.

Our Cummins Dual Filter Kit installs above the frame rail and uses longer, supplied rear seat bolts for a nice clean, tight fit up against the cab floor! It is a simple install of around 30-45 minutes.

These Cummins Dual Filter Kits were designed and produced for the 2003-2012 Dodge Cummins diesel trucks. The dual filter kit mounts at the rear of drivers door underneath on all style trucks.
