These Pistons Are "Marine Style Bowls" vs The Stock Bowl (on the left). Other Styles Are Available, If desired, Please Call For Pricing And Application.
If you choose the tapered option, the top of the piston is tapered by the machine shop to prevent sticking in cylinder bore.
This is the same piston used in 1989-1991 non-intercooled Cummins trucks
(NOT RECOMMENDED FOR STOCK OR ONLY SLIGHTLY MODIFIED TRUCKS, STOCK/OEM BOWL WOULD BE BETTER SUITED FOR LESS THAN 500-600hp)
