5.9L Cummins Overhaul/Rebuild kit featuring Mahle Pistons & Rings

We are currently experiencing a very heavy demand for these kits.
Please allow up to 3-4 business days before your kit ships.
Fly cut pistons will add 1-2 weeks to delivery time.
Coated Pistons will add approx 2 weeks to the delivery time.

No returns on coated or fly cut pistons!

The stock bowls are identical to the stock pistons in the 91.5-93 engines, while the larger bowl pistons are about 17.6:1 compression, the same bowl design as found in the 89-91 non-intercooled engines, but the top rings are located slightly lower, which is is better design when used with a high-performance build.
We have had no reports of hard starting, etc with the larger bowl pistons, even in very cold climates.

ALL COMPONENTS WILL BE SUPPLIED FROM A COMBINATION OF THE FOLLOWING MANUFACTURERS: 

Mahle, Clevite, Pefect Circle, Interstate McBee, and/or Cummins (High demand on these kits has been running the manufacturers out of stock from time to time so we have to substitute what is available........we do NOT supply products that we feel are inferior in quality/durability.

**Kits do NOT come with wrist pin bushings, please add them separately if needed...................these need pressed & burnished by a machine shop into the connecting rod.........typically these do not need replaced**

2 different piston bowl styles are available. See picture below, left depicts the smaller bowl pistons while the right depicts the larger (marine) style bowl.
We HIGHLY recommend the larger bowl piston. Please allow an extra 1 weeks delivery time if you would like the stock bowl size.

THE TOP OF THE LARGE BOWL PISTONS ARE TAPERED IN OUR MACHINE SHOP TO AVOID STICKING.

We do not recommend re-using stock head bolts.

Wrist pin bushings are NOT included.

Piston Fairy Policy: We do not employ a "piston fairy" at Pure Diesel Power. Please take your block to the machine shop and have them measure what bore piston you need BEFORE placing your order.  If you change your mind on your piston bore size AFTER your order has been processed & shipped you WILL be charged a restock/shipping fee.
Pistons that have been fly-cut or coated CANNOT be exchanged out for different size pistons.
