This is an OEM downstream NOx (nitrogen oxide) sensor (i.e., after-treatment/after the selective catalytic reduction system). This is the downstream sensor. If your fault code or diagnosis is pointing to an upstream NOx sensor (before the SCR or DPF), you’ll need a different part. NOx sensors operate in harsh environments (heat, soot, exhaust gases). Ensure the rest of the exhaust/after-treatment system is in good condition — a failed upstream part might damage downstream components over time.

After installation, clear fault codes and monitor for any additional errors — faulty NOx sensors often indicate broader exhaust/after-treatment issues.
