For Cummins® ISX and Signature 600 Engines
Each AirDog® Fuel Air Separation System and installation kit, except for Universal Models, is engine specific.
With AirDog®'s NEW Micro-Processor Fuel Filter Monitor, the operator now has real time, peace of mind knowledge about the status of his fuel filter and water separator. No more wasting time and money replacing a clean filter or driving with a dirty filter after unexpectedly taking on dirty fuel.
The Cummins Signature 600 and ISX CM570, CM870, & CM871 series engines, have a very high "dry suction lift". With the ISX transfer pump running off of the overhead cam, the average restriction level at the inlet to the transfer pump will be approximately 8 to 10 in hg vacuum with a clean fuel filter. Because of this extremely high vacuum and reduced fuel flow, you should expect to see very serious fuel savings after the installation of the AirDog® system.
Additionally, using PureFlow Technologies Special ISX Return "T", the AirDog® air/vapor return line can now be connected directly to the existing engine fuel return line, reducing installation time and materials. The necessary fittings and return line (for most installations) are included in the kit. No need to waste time and money to install an expensive "second return line system".
