The CP4 Fuel Injection Pump on 2011-2016 GM 6.6L LML Duramax Diesels is much more sensitive to water and other fuel contaminants.

The CP4 starts to shed metal particles, causing the entire fuel system to be basically destroyed. If you experience a confirmed CP4 pump failure, your best bet is to replace the ENTIRE fuel system including cleaning out your fuel tank to ensure there's no chance of ruining brand new injectors or another CP4.
