12-piece high-strength bolt set designed specifically for 2017-2025 GM 6.6L Duramax (L5P) up-pipes. Features M8-1.25 threads, 30 mm length, rolled threads after heat treat, 12-point head, black oxide finish — strong and easier to torque than fragile OE bolts. PPE 116122500 is a 12-bolt set that replaces brittle stock hardware on L5P up-pipes — this is especially useful when reinstalling up-pipes after EGR, turbo, or manifold service. These bolts are higher tensile strength (~220 KSI) with 12-point heads for easier torque and less rounding compared to stock bolts. PPE recommends torque to 24lb-ft for up-pipe bolts and 80 lb-in for the heat shield after installation.
