This Banks Power 48997 5" Single Monster Exhaust With Sidekick Tip will help lower exhaust gas temperatures on your GM 6.6L L5P Duramax. The DPF-back exhaust system features 5" mandrel bent Aluminized Steel tubing and a massive 6.5 X 7.5-inch ob-round slash-cut exhaust tip. The original factory exhaust only measures 2.85" compared to the massive 5-inch outlet on this system that provides a 192% Greater Flow area than stock.  This exhaust creates 85% less backpressure than factory exhaust, leading to increased fuel economy and more power. This tip helps eliminates exhaust back pressure which will prevent trailer meltdowns. This tip comes in Cerakote high-temp matte black, or chrome-plates polished stainless steel, this tip will not turn brown with heat.
