DHD's high capacity engine oil cooler kit converts your early Duramax to a 2020+ L5P engine oil cooler. Our kits come standard with the ability to run the factory PF2232 filter your truck was born with. Eliminate confusion at the parts store and use the same oil filter tool you always have. Each kit includes all the hardware, gaskets and adapters to get the job done.

The heart of this system utilizes a GM OE 2020+ Duramax L5P oil cooler. This cooler rejects heat up to 31% better then the earlier 2017-2019 units and up to 40% more then 2001-2016 units. Converting your truck over to this larger cooler will decrease oil temperatures and increase engine longevity. It truly is one of the most impactful durability investments you can make to your early model Duramax trucks.
