FEATURES

Our street series of engines are DFC’s flagship product. Built for work trucks, daily drivers and the diesel enthusiast in mind these engines are a vast improvement from stock as they contain important upgrades to common problem areas. With the majority of Dodge, Ford and Chevy truck owners having some form or another of aftermarket upgrades done, DFC has remanufactured all of our engines with the highest quality diesel parts in Edmonton. Your engine will perform flawlessly with added horsepower and still backed with one of the industry leading warranties in North America.

Engine Remanufacturing

DFC engines are usually matched with near identical weight piston and connecting rod assemblies. As a result, you get a smoother running engine that creates less noise and feels more balanced. This remanufactured Long Block includes new pistons, rings, bearings, and seals.

Cylinder Head

Every 6.4L Powerstroke Street Series engine comes standard with O-ringed cylinder heads. DFC replaces each valve guide with a new set cast guides in every cylinder head. Instead of just a re-grind of the old burnt valves, DFC installs all new valves from high quality sources like MAHLE or SBI. To address common cracking areas in the cylinder head, DFC also machines each head to remove the factory hardened seat material. DFC then installs new SBI valve seats to help eliminate premature cracking giving you a more durable cylinder head.

ARP Fasteners

DFC Street Series engines come standard with ARP 2000 Series Head Studs to give you peace of mind that your new engine won’t fail like the stock engine due to head gasket issues. Not only does DFC use ARP Head Studs, when assembling the bottom end of your 6.4L Powerstroke engine, they also replace the factory connecting rod bolts with ARP Fasteners to ensure that you have an engine that is more dependable than the original.

Street Series 6.4L Long Block Includes:

Complete long block with cylinder heads, all rockers and pushrods installed, ARP series 2000 head studs, ARP connecting rod bolts, complete top end gasket kit to finish installation.

New Engine Checklist (Replacement Items - Sold Separately):

Oil Cooler - highly recommended and mandatory if your past engine had a bearing failure.
Injectors - highly recommended especially on higher model engines or engines with contaminated fuel.
Turbocharger - recommended if mileage over 125K, mandatory if shaft play, or if engine was dusted.
Water Pump - highly recommended if engine has over 125K.
Evans Waterless Coolant - recommended upgrade to prevent corrosion and boilover.

The specific brand of each component may change due to part availability at the time of each build. Parts are chosen at the discretion of DFC and cannot be specially requested. DFC uses only the best components sourced from multiple brands during the remanufacturing process and backs their engines with an industry-leading 5-year 100,000 mile warranty.

Note: $500 Crate charge is included in core charge total. Engine shipping crate must be returned with core engine to receive full core credit.
